RE: {Chrysler 300} 300K Felts

Dave, would you like me to also send back the felts I got from you to make sure they were formed to the pattern?

I plan on sending one of my factory felt frames, minus the felt, as well as the template I just made off of the stamped steel frame that they used which is industrial stapled to the particle board panel. I also checked both sides just to make sure. They are the same.

I am using the patterns that were provided to me and my parts match the pattern. Send me a good pattern and they will match. As far as the roof rails we are making a pretty good set that is ready to install.

Did you replace the weather stripping above the windows. I saw a kit somewhere, didn't know if they needed to be cut and glued at the back of the quarter windows. I know the front ends needed gluing on.

I know a couple of others are working on their 300K’s. The rear quarter window felts I got from QQD, with the heavy stainless flat bead, does not fit the curve.

QQD has asked for a pattern which I will make and mail back to them.

Just in case someone is planning on ordering felts, I would hold off for a bit.
