The show is Sunday. The cars on Saturday are those that are in the tours and parade and hardly representative of Sunday's selection. Many of the cars that will appear on the show field are locked in trailers until Sunday. Some don't show up in town until Sunday morning. It would be a mistake to travel to Newport and not see the Sunday show.

Yes. Tickets are not on sale yet. It is expensive about $250 a person. Saturday is free and all the cars that drive in the tour are on display for the public to look at for about two hours.

All of us are acutely aware that our stewardship of our letter cars has an end and so we must not stop educating the public and enticing would-be future owners and students of our cars towards ownership and preservation. The best way to do that is to pluck them from their garages and trundle them out to car shows of all kinds.
The nice thing about Concours events is that many who attend have the means to keep our cars going so exposure there, especially to their kids often in tow is worthwhile for our cause … to keep the Letter Car Franchise as front and center in the hobby as we can.
I was asked in the recent past to help gather cars for Greenwich and Lime Rock Concours. This is not easy in New England. The E & K & L were especially hard to find. Thankfully Hank Hallowell and a friend showed to help out.
Let’s try to have all the letters on the field in October!

They put on a great event at a fantastic location if any are interested. A 60-mile tour on Saturday and the concours on Sunday at the Breakers Mansion on the lawn overlooking the ocean. There is also an event with food and drink included on Thursday night free for entrants. No cost to show your car with gifts and food and drink included. I have been to the show every year since it started. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me.
