Just a quick note for anyone doing a future archive search on this subject. 
Randy’s 300F rear axle flanges have equidistant studs about 3-1/2” across center to center.  
The Napa shim 55032, which Napa computers claim would work for 1961-89, have differing spaced studs and look like this:

>From experience, these will at least help someone working on 63-64 (and up, I assume), maybe this also will fit 61-62, not sure.  Does not appear to be useful for 1960.
