Of course, a 57 coupe has the advantage over the convertible of of the optional rear speaker, which was a 6x9, more choices, I used a Metra speaker. Combined with the front sounds quite good with the Philco factory radio (which was a good set).

hi coincidence but might help someone, restoring 300C convert front speaker is not 4x10 ( the usual “ Other Size” from 6x9 ) but 5 x7 while not installed yet , just bought DS -18 speakers ( Amazon) based on reviews — 50$ for two , single center tweeter . Noticed 4x6 in same ad has many mounting holes , 6x9 too . seem good value especially w stock radio , at 50 W rms . Stock a wreck , tape on cone etc like 500 sold , good way to find what works , just fyi . hope it fits — only 2.5 deep . Sometimes big magnet on back is a problem in front jg -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
