Thank you for sending this, Nick (both my spacers did fall out of the thrust block when I removed the axles...fortunately, neither dropped to the bottom of the diff and were easily retrieved with a magnet!). I read this article and John Grady's on setting the end-play several times before tackling this job. Thank God for the Tech Section on the club website, Bob Merritt's videos on YouTube, and all our helpful club members with their first-hand knowledge!👍🙏

Howdy everyone in 300-land! Hoping someone can help me source some rear axle wheel bearing shims for my 300F. 

When I pulled the brake backing plate I discovered no shims in place at all, and now with new bearings/races, I want to be sure I set the end-play correctly. My car does have the Sure-grip rear-end, so not sure if that changes which shims I'll most likely need?

Also, what's my best option for pounding the races in, since I don't have the tool specified in the service manual?
