Packard Type 56 Terminals - Female

Packard Type 56 Female Terminal

Packard Type 56 female terminals are manufactured by Delphi/Packard and are offered in 16-14 gauge and 20-18 gauge terminal sizes depending on your wire type. The terminals create a secure connection between the connector housings when locked into the female housing.

  • Use with female housings to complete connection.
  • Positive contact is made when housing connectors are joined together.
  • Terminals can be removed from housings by using a thin blade to trip the locking tang.
  • Terminals should be crimped to wire before insertion into housing.
  • Download data sheet here.
  • Removal tool.

Commonly known as "packard" terminals.
Any auto parts store should have them, both male and female, terminals that is.

Subject: {Chrysler 300} 57 300C / Wire Terminals Needed

Hello Group,

      I need a little help.  I'm building a new wire harness for my 300C.  I'm working on the wiring harness from the blower switch over to the blower motor.  The motor connection is made up of 1 x 4-pin plug housing which fits into the motor connection.

      I have 100s of electrical parts, but I do not have the terminals needed to retain the 4-pin plug housing.  I have attached a few photos of the terminals I need.  Notice the signal slot, once the terminal is inserted into the housing the very end of the terminal gets bent slightly to keep the terminal in the housing.

If anybody has such terminals or knows where to source them, please let me know.  I'm looking for a hand full.

length = 120 mm

width = 7 mm

thickness = 1 mm

Best Regards,

Warren Anderson
