I can tell you that Chase did not see it that way when I inquired. I suggest that anyone ordering something with a long lead time check with their credit card company before placing an order.
There are Federal and State Laws that concern a business taking an order and not delivering on the agreed to time frame. But you would have to spend money on lawyers to get it enforced.

When it comes to non-delivery of goods, that is not the case. From the ClearSale website:
“On the other hand, when disputes are related to services not provided, merchandise not received or not as described, or defective merchandise, cardholders have 540 days to file.”
If it were just 60 days, an unscrupulous merchant would just drag their feet for a couple of months, then say ‘too bad for you’. Helpful hint: Always pay by credit card. The one thing merchants fear is a chargeback. It will affect their credit rating.

On issue people should be aware of is…
If you give them a Credit Card to order and it gets past 60 days (depending on the card) and then they do not deliver in a year and finally give up and ask for your money back…
If they do not do it, you cannot do a charge back.

4 years old.
Ordered August of 2020, still don’t have any date for delivery, so beware ordering from sms.
