Dan - Rebuild the original as per your carb guy. Don't be 'cheap' when it comes to your pride and joy. Besides, if the carb guy rebuilds it, it's guaranteed. You'll save yourself endless frustration trying to get the other one to work. Write off the $75 as a learning experience, so the next time you'll do your homework before buying just any ol' carb. They were all different from one year to the next. Besides, if $105 is out of your budget, you're in the wrong hobby ! Just my 2�.
