Lookers - if I remember correctly the 55 uses a completely different mount
setup than the 56.  The 55s used a "cradle-like" device that has a rubber
mount sandwiched between the water pump housing and this cradle, with the
legs of the cradle bolting to the front part of the frame(?)  At any rate,
when I put a 300B engine in a 55 - there was nothing on the side frame rails
to use for mounts.  I had to make some L-shaped steel brackets, weld them to
the insides of the frame rails, and then fasten the 354 mounts to these.  I
had a 56 Plymouth later on, and it seems to me that the mount setup was
quite similiar to what was in later-model Mopars.  I put a 392 in it, but I
don't remember exactly how.  I *do* remember that I did not have to "make"
much of anything except for the trans mount setup.  It's been too long ago
(1963) to remember much "detail".
