Re: [FWDLK] "392 Hemi Commando"

Dear Dave, please take pictures! This is a rare and elusive beast, to say the
least. I have always had fantasys of finding one in a junkyard somewhere, ever
since I found out they existed. Slim hope, I know.
But, one could always take a later model crate Hemi and put it in an incomplete
Plymouth to make a sort of copy. By the way, what body styles were these
supposed to be? Was it a Fury only option, or was it like most Mopars, where the
Hemi could of ended up in almost anything? Any info on production number
available? I figure that less then 100, maybe much less. Anyway, glad to hear
there is one out there. I bet anyone who had one of these back in the 50's made
life real rough for the fuelie Vettes and Bel-Airs. I don't think a super
charged 312 57 Ford would have had enough to handle one either, lol. Christine on
Steroids!
