Re: [FWDLK] 6V bat

Guys,

I bought reproduction 12v battery cables, with original style terminals, for
my Dodge. I am sure they have 6 volt cables also. I suggest one inch longer
than original to allow for different locations of terminals on modern
batteries. They also have reproduction batteries that look like the
originals.

I know this has probably been stated but, the reason
everyone went to 12v was to use smaller wiring and
if you use the battery cables that are made for the
12v system the 6v starter doesn't stand a chance.
Make sure that the cables, both pos and neg are the
heavier 6v cables, it solves a lot of problems, and many
a "dead" starter my friends bring me work just fine with
the right cable.
