So, Elijah was right about the engine color....He is on the ball isn't he?  That is a sweet car that you have there Teddy....wish mine was looking that good.  I am sending the seats out to the upholsterer late this summer (he is booked until then), and am order the headliner and carpet soon.  The car itself is going to spend the winter in a friends body shop getting back to it's original splendor, or at least at the present time...that is the plan.

I am thinking that I may want to convert the car to disc brakes, have you done this to yours, or it is completely original?  It would be nice is there is anyone who knows if there is someone who makes a conversion kit out there, but I haven't found one myself.  If not, I will be looking for that perfect donor car.

Thanks for the link, makes my day to see that car!

Hi Chad,

If you like the color, look at our 1959 conv (a few new pictures): http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/teddyfreddy2000/album?.dir=/97f9&.src="">

The engine color should be black in 1959, not turquoise.

Another member said that the hubcaps were from a 1962 Imp, and that same member also mentioned that there was something funny about the engine that was in the car (whoever you are who said this initially, please email me again with the details...I mistakenly deleted your email).  However, the car is truly lovely, and WOW what a beautiful color.  I hope this car ends up in the Imperial Club.

I think whoever is selling the car does not know a great deal about Imperials, and probably means by limited production that there were not very many LeBarons produced compared to other Imperials of that year. I have no idea where the New Yorker came from. It is a beautiful car right down to the double tail light rings, and silver crest roof. My only complaint is the hub caps. Where did those come from?
