The 73 Imperial is 235+" long, however at least six inches of that length come from the extended impact absorbing bumpers. So it wins by a technicality. Compared to fuselage Imperials, the 58-60 Lincolns seem like larger cars from inside. They are wide enough to seat 4 across, and have more legroom. Unlike the Imperials, their bumper don't extend much beyond the sheetmetal. Thus I suspect the bare bodies of these Lincolns are larger than the bare bodies of fuselage Imperials, letting Lincoln retain its reputation of the largest unitized passenger car ever built.
