Some of the Imperials (from '57 to '60?) had bodywork done in Italy, but these were the Ghia limousine models, of which only a handful a year were done. The body shell was shipped to Turin, lengthed and some 150 lbs of lead was added. As for the deal, if Imperials can get you juiced as well as Hernando's best, by all means, get the car in better shape! (Those gunsight tailights are cool!).
