The car came originaly with Adventurer/Super D-500 engine and Torqueflite trans. When I bought it there were no engine or trans in it. Since I have lots of other projects going on that cost a fortune I considered to use 65 aluminum Torqueflite and 62 383 from Chrysler 300 to bring this car back to road. I will put old cast iron Torqueflite in it eventually, together with correct engine. What I would like to know is that is there a way to use 65 TorqueFlite without cutting or modifying the original frame supports? Is there an aftermarket kit or something for this modification? I can clearly see that 62-65 TorqurFlite won´t bolt on to same place as original.
