Agreed. The 1962 B-bodies were the dawning of a new era in Chrysler performance and engineering. Two words-"Max Wedge". The reputation of dominant Mopar performance as known today was established by the Max Wedge. It is certainly true that pre-1962 Mopars need NO apologies in terms of high performance relative to their competition,but the Max Wedge is the REAL start of the musclecar era. (the 1964 GTO was the first 'image' musclecar)
