Guys, guys: all I know is I have a receit for a rebuild of the tranny in the '58 Christine Clone I bought from a guy in Seattle. It is for $2200.00 and the work was done by a local shop up there:o) I don't care how much THAT rebuild cost, but I would like to mate that tranny to a B 383 or 413 when I make the switch over from the 318 that's in the car now. Otherwise, my ram induction won't fit:o( I was told that all I needed to do was get a BB bell housing and then the tranny would work just fine with the 383/413. I am NOT trying to build an asphalt burner, I have the '69 Hemi Bee for that. I just want a ram inducted car. Heck, I'd settle for a 361 if I had too. Bob: please advise as to what particular bell housing I need. THANKS for all the help guys!!! It wasn't my $2200.00:o)
