The easiest way to put the BB wedge in a V8 '57-59 Ply./Dodge is to modify the existing V8 motor mounts. Change the two bolt holes on the top section to fit the BB wedge V8. This should all be done with the engine and mounts out of the car. Once you have the mounts mounted to the engine, then you can lower the engine into the car to test that they will still bolt to the frame in the same location. After this you will still still have to modify or make a transmission crossmember and driveshaft but your engine will be in the correct place.
