Dud...In order to mkae double flares, you have to use the flaring mandrel to set the height of the tubing ABOVE the flaring clamping fixture. You do this by using the depth of the large diameter mandrel/pin tool and put the end of the tubing level with the top surface (that would be the surface contacting the tubing when the pin is inserted into the tube ID. Then you clamp it, insert the mandrel/pin and make the first compression while the mandrel is in the tube. This folds the tubing over for the second flare. Now remove the mandrel/pin fixture and complete the double flare. This is how my Snap-on setup works, and I would think the NAPA tool is similar.
