Bob...Baking does leave stuff inside the engine. Can't be helped. The shot-peening or bead blasting helps, but only goes so far. Expect to get a gun brush set or a set of Milodon block cleaning brushes, and finish the job with hot water, DAWN detergent (stuff is INCREDABLE), and a blow-out with shop air. You can also use a pressure washer with trailer cleaning detergent. Just make sure you blow dry with air and then spray the block thoroughly with WD40 or the like.
