Joe, I would use a check valve in that setup somewhere to prevent a back-draft from lighting up the tank. First if all what we're talking about here is totally un-safe at best, and I don't think you'll ever come across someone who's an expert in doing this safely that will guarentee their methood it totally 100% safe! With that said, i would suggest a safety check valve like those used on Oxy-Acetlyne torches. Where the hoses hook into the torch handle there are small metal valve-like assemblies that will prevent the gases in the hose (if they do light up) from blowing the tanks up. Good luck with your project and let us know what results you get. If we never hear from you again, then we'll just assume that you blew up. just kidding, good luck......pony
