It seems to me that Rod & Custom magazine has a chop-top on some kind of car in nearly every issue. Street Rodder has done a few pieces,too. I've seen a few car books out there that were exclusively about chopping tops. The basic rules of chopping would apply to any car,really. "You can't measure too much or too carefully". "Always err on the side of too high (from the ground); you can trim 'too high' a cut but you can't trim 'too LOW' a cut!"
I've seen at least one mag. article about chopping '53-56 F-100's. I'm sure someone on the Ford sites would know the details...
