My 392 has a problem idling. When stopped and idle, the car revs and dies down and revs and dies down and revs etc. It's really bad in drive, but less in neutral probably jst because the revs are up. I dont seem to have any problems at anything above an idle. It was recently rebuilt, and i have tried 2 new carbs without any change in idle. New plugs, points, coil, etc. next step is to replace the manifold gaskets. I can only guess that it's a vacuum leak. Sprayed flammable fluid around gaskets, but no difference in idle. Any ideas?
