Nothing wrong with the old nitrocellulose lacguers, Hank. I have a 34 Ford 3 window cpe painted with it and it still looks good today. It was painted in '79. It is Porsche Mars red and the paint was of German origin (even back then it was $65 a quart). No crazing or loss of pigment still shines great. But a modern paint job by the pros can cost $5000 and up.
