If you have had your carb rebuilt and the car will start but die suddenly and not restart until cooler, take a look at the thermostatic choke spring. I've had a carb shop rebuild my carb and put the spring in backward. The car will start but then the heat of the engine will make the choke plate close instead of open and kill the engine. Next time you sart the car watch the choke plate and see what it does as the engine warms. if it doesn't open you've found your problem. Best of luck, John
