Hey, I'm going to tell you the right way to do this. I broke mine by doing it the right way and now I can't get them off! Anyway, what I did is I took the GM tool you can get at napa and modified it. I hammered the two prong pieces down and flattened the sides. It worked for me! Just took some time to figure out how to get them off faster. I've also heard you can do it with 2 flathead screwdrivers, but I couldn't. If you want, I can get you a picture from my shop manual showing what the factory tool looked like. You could probably make it if you have access to a welder and metal.
