Scott, Try posting again with a little more info. Usually these types of posts get an answer. If the engine is in a car give make, model and year. Are we talking about a flathead, hemi, poly? Do the valve covers say anything (Red Ram, Spitfire, etc.) If the engine is out, it may be an industrial and have an unusal number which is why nobody recognized it. Welcome to the sometimes tricky waters of Mopar restoration. This is not the black and white world of GM organization. Don't get discouraged, the truth is out there!
