Books and service manuals are NOT perfect, especially when they are 40+ years old! Example #1: Can you install a 1961 Plymouth winshield on a 1960 Plymouth? If you read my Hollander's Interchange Manual or Mopar master parts books, you would have to say 'no'. BUT if you have the '61 windshield and the '60 car at hand, you can do this! Why? The windshields have different top crowns and different part numbers, BUT their base is the same. This is an actual DIY experience! Oops, I may have saved someone a lot of effort!!
