OK, here's the deal. Only cars built in Newark, DE and Los Angeles had data plates. Newark-built cars (like mine) had them near the master cylinder. LA-built cars had them on the firewall, on the passenger side, I believe. Furthermore, cars with data plates may have left the factory without body tags (body number 12345, Chrysler Corp, Detroit, Michigan, or words to that effect). This is the best I can come up with, based on my 15+ years of research. Clay, we'll see ya at Carlisle ! Ron
