Hello people, I have a really NICE '57 Plymouth Belvedere 2-dr sedan. Perfect interior, nice paint, perfect glass, excellent mechanical condition except the engine. It has a 301 that needs rebuilding. I also have a '59 318 with 75K original miles on it but it too needs rebuilding as it smokes. Now - What would you do? Rebuild the 301 or the 318? The 318 is a power pac with Carter AFB 4-barrel carb. Car is already equiped with dual exhaust. Either way I want a good amount of power but I don't want to take too much away from the car as far as originality goes. I do plan to use the Torqueflight push button that's in the car - it has just been completely rebuilt and is perfect. Thanks for any and all response. Charles
