I own a '58 Belvedere 4-door sedan, but I'm working on my '65 Sport Fury convertible. It has the same setup you mentioned, the ends are connected to the struts and the links to a bracket on the frame. My rubber insulators/isolators are shot. When I looked up the part #'s in the '65 parts book, almost all of the #'s were from the late fities. If you take a good look at a 57-59 frame and the stub frame from 60-68 you'll find a lot of similarities.
