Many people have screwed up these cars by swapping in F-body and late B-body spindles that physically fit but will screw up the front end geometry, suspension travel and alignment. These cars' turning radius distances are greatly increased, you may as well forget trying U-turns! The wheels can also 'tuck in' under hard cornering loads because proper caster and camber can never really be acheived with these too-short spindles. The only PROPER swaps use C-body spindles, and these will still involve MUCH more modification than the AAJ kit (ie. machining tie rod ends and control arms, and even larger wheels). Meanwhile, the AAJ kit can be installed in a couple of hours and you won't even have to realign the front end or buy different wheels! The AAJ kit will hopefully spare us of more of these unsafe-handling F and late B Body spindle 'butcher' conversions....
