The motor freight prices sound 'in line'. Usually it is less costly to transport the whole car,as a rolling car is much easier to load and unload than an 800 lb. box. For long-distance parts buying it's usually preferable to get the whole car for this and other reasons,but since this sounds like an engine-trans only deal,posting for possible help from people going in that direction is a good idea!
