Frank, I read an article on the 58 Fury which gave 1/4 mile times and braking distances etc. This particular car had the 350 commando engine and 3 speed auto trans with a 3.23 axle ratio. The time was around the 15.4 sec range. The 57 had the 318 engine and has considerably less torque than the big block. I would think that you could expect a high 15 second or low 16 second time out of that engine. Still not bad for a car that is almost 5,000 lbs!!
