Drew, the Chrysler and DeSoto dashes in 58-59 were very different. Chrysler used a conventional analog speedometer (dial type) in a large round bezel, and another large round bezel housed the fuel, temp, oil and amp gauges. DeSoto dashes were actually very similar to Dodge. They used a ribbon-type speedometer where a little red square would raise for every 5mph. The fuel, oil, temp and amp guages were under the speedometer in separate bezels. The DeSoto and Dodge dashes were actually much prettier and "tricker" than the Chryslers. Hope this helps.
