The most likely 'maker'(actually 'converter') of your car would be Armbruster & Company,Memphis,TN. If so this car will have 'Memphian' nameplates on it. There is a picture of one in the book "The Plymouth and DeSoto Story" by Don Butler (this book is unfortunately out of print)

In the last few years I have seen two EIGHT-door Memphian airport limos,a '56 Dodge sedan-based (blue, very good cond.) and a '57 Chrysler New Yorker station wagon-based (silver, complete restorable non-running cond.)
