If you are positive you have bled the lines, and have not installed a residual presure check valve, then you need to. The drum brake cars and disc brake cars use different valves. Look in Jegs, Summit, etc. to get an adjustable one. Set it where you think it should be and test dirve it. Adjust it again an drive again util you get it right. The valve is a must. And since you are fabing brake lines, why not put in a line lock to make burnouts easier? Good luck.
