Speaking as someone who put 25,000 miles on a '66 Dart in the northeast, I would agree. While my car had good undercoating on it, the paint job (original) took an awful beating. There are still plenty of restorable '66 Darts around, however. There are NOT so many restorable '58 Fury autos. I would recommend getting a grandma owned late '60s early '70s Valiant as an every day driver. It is not hard to find them with low miles, especially if you get a four-door sedan with a slant 6!
