I have been following the disk brake conversion conversation on this thread. I was wondering if anyone has successfully swapped the newer front drum brakes to a '57-'61 Plymouth or Dodge? The drums for the older style brakes are getting difficult to find and adjusting and bleeding procedures are much easier with the 1962 and up drum set ups. During the '60's, drum brakes were standard with 383/440 "B" body muscle cars. I don't see why this set up won't stop a full size Exner Mopar with a small block V-8 or six.
