He is using stock magnum type cast exhaust manifolds. Are you thinking for
headers?...................MO

I normally use 3/8 -16 socket head set screws. They take an allen wrench
in the end, and look like a stud, but are the same thread all the way
down. Almost any part store will have studs that are 3/8-16 and 3/8-24
like the factory. You can buy set screws in different lengths and they
are almost all grade 8. Put your sealant on the end and your finished. I
just installed all new ones on my Maxxie last Sat after the new engine
went in.

Hi All,
I'm changing my log style manifolds to 1969 RoadRunner style manifolds
on my 64'. Where can I get a quality set of new studs/ sleeve nuts and
any suggestions about exhaust gasket choice? Thanks in advance!
