--Hello George,Commenting on Rob Kern's earlier email, recommending American Classics, sold through Coker Tire. Cancel that. American Classics are no longer in production, and suffered from very poor quality, starting about 4 or so years ago. That said, I'm running tires these on my 300-F, same size - 235/75R14 - as for your 300-C.So now, you have 3 other options that our 300 Club members are currently using, all with wide whitewalls. You can choose between radials and bias-ply structure. I cruise many miles on my 300-F, and have been running radials. Check out these websites - I've cited the radial tire available sizes -
- Diamondback Tires - www.dbtires.com. These are available in a slightly undersized 225/75R14. Many members are running these and have offered positive reviews. These will likely be my choice when it's time for replacements in a couple years.
- Kontio Tires - www.kontiotyres.com. These are available - in 225/75R14 - through various shops here in the U.S. as you'll see thru Google.
- Coker Tires - www.cokertire.com. Coker just came out with these Coker Classic Star Series tires in the past few months, and we haven't seen any feedback on them. They are available in the correct 235/75R14 size.
FYI - Our 300 Club's listserver emails, just like this one, each include a link to all our archived emails - http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang - just enter your search topic and the many prior emails over the past 15+ years will appear for your review. Also, if you haven't already explored our www.chrysler300clubinc.com website, we strongly recommend spending time familiarizing yourself with it - especially our Tech Department section. Here's the informational link to our discussion - Chrysler 300 Letter Car Tires.Hope this helps!Noel Hastalis300-F CoupeOn 01/16/2025 2:39 PM CST Rob Kern <robkern@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:I recommend the American Classic Radial with 2.5” WW if you are planning to drive and not worry about originality for show. Otherwise Coker Classic would be good for the bias ply WW for show. Yes, I am aware that Coker owns American Classic, however the last time I purchased new radials was 3 years ago and they were still obtainable AND much better than the Coker radial. The Coker radial version was extremely difficult to balance even with Hunter Road Force balancing. This works well for me. If you or others disagree, then so be it, just my $0.02 worth based on personal experience. 300’ly, Rob KernOn Jan 16, 2025, at 7:26 AM, George Johnson <gj@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:What are the recommended tires for this car?Sent from my iPhone--For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang---You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to chrysler-300-club-international+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.To view this discussion visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/chrysler-300-club-international/C9862B8D-8CD3-45D8-938D-B166E11673A9%40bjbas.com.
