Contact Auto and Truck Bumper in Hayward CA, 29699 Pacific St. 510-881-1886. They replated two bumpers for me, very good work and local to you. They also do trim polishing, reasonably priced too.

Hi All,

What have people paid for re-chroming a basically good bumper? A lady in a parking lot yesterday decided to park by the pinball method. Lucky, she did not screw up the newly painted body.

I want to get a price estimate to give her as she may just write a check to keep it out of the insurance system. Fine by me if that happens.

The PITA is that I contacted Sherms in Sacramento CA who has done my plating forever and they advised they are not doing bumpers anymore due to a â€œmanpower shortageâ€?.

There is nobody else around Northern California that I know of. So much fun.
