Yeah, that was a pretty much 1 owner car when I had it. Was in mint condition as well except for accident damage in the driver side 1/4 panel.

IIRC it scored mid 800's for the concours that fall, 1st time out!

I wonder if he still has the record I gave him when he bought it.

We had a K convert as well, sold 'em both plus the G conv we had at that time.

The K convert is the one that Pete fitch found and restored years later.

 

The G wound up in Switzerland after the flipper I sold it to hid it away and stored it for decades.

It was a rust bucket and I was glad to be rid of it!

Some idiot had patched rust holes in the trunk w/pieces of sheet metal screwed to the floor and right into the gas tank!!

Shortly after the flipper sold it it showed up on an E-bay video, the IDIOT driver was doing donuts with it in a huge cloud of smoke, He's damn lucky the thing didn't break in half!!

BTW, our Blue F is still for sale, pass the word please!

Dave,

Now that you mention it, Donnie did mention you owning this K when I first met him in Seneca!

When I was enlisting 300s for Geneva, Donnie also mentioned having a freshly restored K convertible, but I already had Don Nissen’s teed up. I’ve not seen that K convertible.

Not mine, but a beautiful local northeastern Illinois 300-K Coupe for sale, posted on Facebook late yesterday by Donnie Carr - in the Group 'Chrysler 300 Letter Series 1955-1965' -

 

I am going to sell my 1964 Chrysler 300k Hard top beautiful condition I’m gonna call the number three maybe 6000 miles since restored older restoration runs fantastic drives fantastic stops fantastic tons of parts I am going to ask 19 Thousand 500 I really feel it’s worth that like I said lotta parts Has redline tires with Mag wheels Have original rims and hubcaps also

 

I first saw this K and first met Donnie about 8 or so years ago at a cruise nite in Seneca, IL - 70 miles sw of downtown Chicago. I've attached some photos - 1st 4 are ones Donnie posted; last 3 are ones I took when his K was displayed at our local Geneva, IL Concours in August 2018, where Letter Cars were featured - we had 20 Letter Cars and a 300 Hurst gleaming on tree-lined Second Street.

 

Donnie's K is also seen in my Geneva Concours video posted on our 300 Club's website - seen at 15:09 of this video -
