The 1955's were the original 300s and bore the designation C300, but they were follwed by the 1956 300B, and so on. The 300s were all letter cars until the '62s at which point Chrysler, in addition to the 300H, also offered a 300 which was a non-letter 300. That continued through 1965 when the last letter cars of the series were produced. So, to answer your question, there were non-letter versions of the 300 H, J, K, and L.
